About Op Shops Hub

Connecting Australian Shoppers with Trusted Local Op Shops

The comprehensive directory for charity shops, thrift stores and vintage boutiques across Australia.

Our Mission: Why We Started

Finding a reliable op shop in Australia has traditionally been a frustrating experience. Google Maps is often cluttered with permanently closed stores, and many of the best independent church, community and vintage shops operate by word of mouth or Facebook alone, without a website.

Op Shops Hub was built to solve this. We have aggregated, cleaned and organised information on thousands of second-hand stores across the country. Our goal is simple: to help you find a store that is open, active and located in your specific suburb. Browse op shops by state and suburb to start.

How We Operate

Op Shops Hub is an independent resource based in Australia. As passionate thrifters and vintage collectors ourselves, we love the thrill of the hunt and the joy of finding a second-hand treasure.

We are not the shop

The phone numbers on each listing connect you directly to the charity store or boutique.

We can’t take donations

Please contact stores directly to check donation policies before dropping off goods.

Free to use

The site is supported by advertising partners, keeping it free for the community.

Our Data & Editorial Policy

Accuracy is our priority. We know charity stores frequently change opening hours or rely on volunteer availability, so we work to keep listings current.

  • Data sourcing: our directory is aggregated from public charity registers, verified business listings and direct user submissions.
  • Verification: we use automated checks to flag “permanently closed” locations and keep the map clean.
  • Corrections: spot an error? Use the “Report” button on every listing. We aim to process correction requests within 48 hours.
