General manager operations Drew Eide told the Catholic Leader Biloela has become a regional op-shop hotspot, recording almost 30,000 purchases in the last financial year at the old shop. The new layout targets a fresher retail experience and capacity to grow volunteer numbers by about 54%.

Proceeds from shop sales stay in the local region to fund community support, Eide said. More than 60 volunteers already serve in Biloela, with recruitment expected to rise after opening week.
